Here are my answers. My favorite book that I read in 2022 was actually a series. I reread Carlos Ruiz Zafon's "The Shadow of the Wind," "The Angel's Game," "The Prisoner of Heaven," and "Labyrinth of the Spirits." I'd read them all years ago and loved them, but I wanted to read them back to back this time. They are phenomenal -- gothic stories set in Barcelona in the 1940s. I also really enjoyed Alan Alda's memoir "Never Have Your Dog Stuffed: And Other Things I Learned." I listened to that one as an audiobook narrated by Alda himself which made it even better. I plan to read either Kenneth Follett's "Kingsbridge" series or George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series in 2023. Which do you think I should read?
